During the couple's lovely Valentine's Day date, John gave Katy an extraordinary ruby ring, in the shape of a heart. But it wasn't an engagement ring, says several insiders: it was a commitment ring. John is trying to take things slow when it comes to proposal and wedding, but that doesn't mean the couple haven't discussed their future wedding. "Katy and John want to have a really intimate traditional ceremony with only their closest friends and family. They're both from fairly traditional families and don't want a big party", a close source reveals.
